Mundaring Disc Golf Club

Mundaring Disc Golf Club is easily one of the most memorable spots I’ve played—set right in the middle of the Australian bush, with tall gum trees, red dirt trails, and the occasional mob of kangaroos casually hopping across the fairway. The course itself is a great mix of technical and open holes, with enough elevation changes and tricky lines to keep things interesting, but still playable for all levels. It’s well marked, nicely spaced out, and has that quiet, peaceful feel that makes you want to slow down and really enjoy the round.

The best part? Midway through the course, you’ll almost definitely spot a few kangaroos just lounging under the trees or watching from the distance—completely unfazed by discs flying nearby. It adds something pretty special to the whole experience, especially if you’re not local. The course has a bit of a wilderness vibe to it, but everything’s kept in good shape and the local club clearly puts a lot of effort into maintaining it. If you’re into disc golf and anywhere near Perth, Mundaring is absolutely worth the trip. It’s a solid course in its own right, but the setting and the wildlife take it to another level.
